New Rover technical videos have been added to the Technical section and to make it easier to find this now has its own sub heading under TECHNICAL called Technical Manuals & Videos.
Some of these videos are previously unseen footage and information and are unique to the Rover 800 Club. These have just been unearthed from a Rover Dealership and saved from the skip. More content will be added as soon as it can be converted from VHS to MP4 and uploaded. Keep checking back for new content and enjoy.

Although we will try to do everything our power to ensure your orders are met in a timely manner this current pandemic is delaying some items so please bear with us if your order is slightly delayed. However due to the Covid restrictions we do need to know numbers of members who would like to attend the show displaying their vehicle on the club stand. If you are in a vulnerable category please let us know.
This may be the one and only chance to get out in your car this year and attend a show. Can you please let the Admin team know via email on admin@rover800.club of your intention to attend and whether you will be attending alone or with others in the car with you. We do have a restriction of 30 people for the stand so if you intend to come along please let us know at the earliest opportunity to avoid disappointment. These have now been wrapped and packaged and are ready for collection tomorrow and delivery is by end of day Friday 7th August and delivery is via UPS. You will receive an email/text from UPS regarding your delivery direct from them. Due to circumstances out of our control the saloon & fastback sill purchased by members are with us but we are currently unable to send these out. The following text is taken directly from parcel force 48 who handle our parcels.

Our express48large service is temporarily suspended across our consumer channels (online, call centre, depots and Post Office branches) from 06 July 2020. We have investigated an alternative but cannot find anyone to handle these due to size and weight unless we ship via pallet freight which was £85.00 per pallet which I am sure you will all agree is to expensive. As soon as we have any further information we will update you. The Club are pleased to announce that the remanufacture sills for Fastback and Saloon are now available for ordering and in the same material as the coupe which 1.2mm Zintec steel as opposed to the OE material of 0.8mm. These are to be sold in pairs only. The cut off date for ordering is Sunday 28th June 22:00hrs. The lead time for manufacturing is expected to be upto 14 days dependent on numbers.
Again we are looking for a minimum batch size order to keep costs down, postage will be as before on coupe which is via Parcel force 48hr which includes insurance to cover any problems. These sills are available to Members at a discounted price but are also available to Non-members but a higher premium. Please order through the offical website via the appropiate section, IE Member, Non-Member. We have been advised by the British Motor Museum that the BMC,Leyland & Rover show 2020 at Gaydon July 12th has now been rescheduled for 6th September 2020 due to Covid 19.
The timings for this show remain the same which are Display vehicles to be in place on their club stands by 09:30 with general admission from 10:00-16:00. Please continue to check here for updates regarding this show and any Goverment restrictions regarding distancing etc. We will update here as and when any further information is made available to us. We would encourage all members that if they have found an alternative part for their vehicle to keep their 800 running which is used on different vehicles or manufactures to share this information with us so we can enter this into the database for others and to keep as many cars on the road. Thank you Admin Team Following on from the successful relaunch of our remanufactured Coupe sills the Club now proposes to have Saloon/Fastback sills done as well. For those not aware it is this Clubs stated intention to support the Rover 800 Series with the best Technical knowledge available and to remanufacture much needed parts when we can. We are still at an early stage with these sills (measuring and profiling) but it is hoped to have them ready by the end of July. Pricing is expected to be on a par with the Coupe sills. Not asking for firm orders yet but if you would be interested in Saloon/Fastback sills could you please let the Club know either below or email to admin@rover800.club
I thank you. The first batch of Coupe sills have been manufactured, collected, packaged and sent out to their waiting owners. This was a successful build and the next batch time line will be dependant on receiving of orders/enquirys. The sooner we get the orders in the sooner the next batch can be made, so don't wait around if you thinking of repiars to your Coupe over the coming winter get your orders in now.
