Club Officers
Having been involved with the 800 Series since 1997 when I bought my first one, an L reg 827 SLi saloon, I thought it time to start a Club dedicated to keeping the remaining 800's on the road where they belong. My first car has long since gone and there have been many gracing my driveway since but today I restrict myself to just three, a 1990 Mk1 Sterling 827 Automatic in a fetching two tone Black over Storm Grey and a 1988 E plate early 2.7 Sterling Automatic in Silver over Gunmetal along with a 1993 827 Coupe in White Gold, the interior of which you see to the left.
Parts and Technical knowledge needed to keep these great cars on the road has in recent years become an issue, and it's one that needs addressing. So on this site you will find a wealth of Technical Information, virtually everything that has ever been published, along with Historical Facts and Figure's. And from this Club there is a commitment to reproduce no longer available parts or alternatives wherever possible to help you enjoy the Rover 800 Series.....Engineering in a finer form. Why not join us.

During the 80's & 90's I worked for companies in the automotive sector supplying injection moulded & painted exterior parts to many makes but especially Rover both at Longbridge and Cowley. This is where my affinity with the 800 stems from. I proudly own 6 of these cars,
3 are MK1's 1989 2.7 Vitesse Manual in Stone Grey, 1990 2,7 Automatic Sterling in Steel Grey and a 1991 2.0 Tickford Turbo Saloon in Quicksilver. The 3 MK 2's are 1994 2.0 Sports Turbo Coupe manual in Gloss Black, 1998 2.0 Turbo Vitesse fastback in Nightfire Red and a 1995 2.7 Sterling Saloon Automatic in Flame Red
My role in the team is to help identify potential sources for NLA or hard to find parts along with identifying possible work arounds such as vinyl dipping for faded and peeling wood trim. Along with Dave Smart I am passionate about preserving the marque and if you feel the same way then why not join us at rover800.club where we will be only too glad in helping you keep your car on the road and looking its best.

As acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at The Henmore Group, I bring the experience and skills of operating a corporate vehicle to the club and to ensure it is well advised and assisted in corporate governance and assurance. A passionate automotive enthusiast I have owned MG's and Rovers in the past including my current Rover 820 Sterling Coupe.
